Ever since my father introduced me to the game of golf at age 3, I’ve been hooked. You could always find me taking swings in my yard, practicing my putting in the living room or at the range while my dad and I honed my swing. When I was 16, I was offered my first position in the golf industry working in the cart barn at Callippe. Over my 10+ years here, I have done every job imaginable. But my favorite job by far is helping players reach their golf goals.

Following my collegiate years, I worked as the Assistant Professional here until I decided it was time to play golf professionally. Over my playing career, I played in numerous mini tour events, PGA & Korn Ferry Monday Qualifiers, and was able to learn from some of my childhood idols like Mike Weir, Butch Harmon, and various other current and past PGA tour players. 4 years later, hundreds of golf tournaments, and thousands of miles traveled later, I made a choice to get back into teaching and was offered the Head Professional position back at my home, Callippe.

Watching my students learn and accomplish their goals is truly what drives me. It brings me the more joy watching you all finally get rid of that dreaded slice as my years playing professionally. In my teaching, I like to keep things simple and the mind focused on a specific goal. You will learn how to practice like a pro, and get results FAST. With over forty years of experience in the game of golf and years working in the golf industry, my passion for helping others improve their game and my desire to always learn more about the game of golf is what drives me. I focus on the fundamentals from set up to grip as well as getting the club on the swing plane throughout the golf swing.

I was raised in Pleasanton and have been playing competitive golf since I was 8 years old.  I was ranked one of the top Junior golfers in Northern California growing up. I'm a Titleist Team member and a certified Titleist Performance Institute Golf Instructor & certified KBS shaft certified fitter.

I spent my childhood in Colorado growing up playing various sports, but it was golf that ultimately captured my heart. I have been playing various degrees of competitive golf for nearly 25 years. I began working in the golf industry fresh out of college as a golf shop assistant and quickly worked my way up to an Assistant Golf Professional teaching clinics. As I began sharing my passion for the game with others, I discovered that teaching was my true calling and fell in love with it.

A few years after turning Professional, I battled with multiple wrist issues and a major shoulder injury that nearly ended my sports career. This prompted me to change focus and adopt a holistic approach to golf instruction, emphasizing the connection between the body and the swing.

I understand that each individual has a unique swing, and my philosophy centers on helping players move and swing in a way that suits their specific needs.

I am a LPGA Class “A” member, TPI Level 3 certified, and U.S. Kids 2 Golf Instructor with nearly 15 years of teaching experience. I am also an ACE certified Personal Trainer and have been guiding clients in golf specific training for the last 8 years.
